Edward Julian Makobore

Edward Julian Makobore is the founder of Mind Yo Lingo. Edward set up this virtual language class after realizing that many people world over in this current generation cannot connect with their roots because of inability to speak the native language. Mind Yo Lingo was set up to address that challenge.


Edward provides oversight and strategic direction and ensuring the goals of the school are met.

Mr Philip Nyebaza

Mr Philip Nyebaza Is the Director of language studies. He has extensive experience of over ten years teaching native languages in well established schools.

He teaches Swahili and Runyankole. He is responsible for smooth running of the virtual classes.

Ajok Christine

Ajok Christine is a university graduate specialising in Education. She is however multi skilled and besides teaching she also is a translator from Acholi to English and vice-versa. She normally does this at official and social events. She is fluent in both spoken and written Acholi. She is a firm believer in the vision of ensuring young people speak their native language.
